Red Carpet Rundown: The Academy of Country Music Awards

The stars were out in Vegas for the Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards, and while the show wasn’t in New York or Los Angeles, there was no shortage of great style - or wardrobe changes!

Singers such as Carrie Underwood and Miranda Lambert wore shades of white, although both stars changed their gowns several times throughout the evening.  White is one of the hottest colors right now, and anyone who wore it looked effortlessly glam in the Vegas sun.  Carrie walked the orange carpet in a creamy one-shouldered Basil Soda cocktail dress with architectural origami detailing, which she accessorized with drop earrings, a studded Swarovski clutch and metallic green heels.  She later changed into an adorable white Rafael Cennamo dress with silver sandals, a long strand of silver charms accentuating the dress’s plunging neckline.  Julianne Hough also wore Basil Soda, a strapless white gown with metallic embellishments, which she paired with Neil Lane jewelry.  Faith Hill wore a cool white sheath to the show, accessorizing it in one of the most au currant ways to wear white - with cream colored suede peep toe pumps.

Blue wasn’t just the mood of the quintessential country song - it was the hottest color around after white!  Camilla Alves, Jewel, Leann Rimes, Taylor Swift and Miranda Lambert stayed cool in shades of azure and periwinkle.

Asymmetrical necklines continue to be a major trend - Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood and Sugarland's Kristian Bush all rocked the one-shouldered Grecian goddess look.  One who stood out from the pack - Lady Antebellum singer Hillary Scott in a one shouldered hot pink Pamella Roland gown, which looked effortlessly gorgeous accessorized with dangling statement earrings.
