Carrie Underwood's Diamond Engagement Ring

Carrie Underwood's favorite holiday surprise from fiance Mike Fisher was a yellow diamond engagement ring! The ring features a more than 5-carat center round stone with diamond sidepieces, and was created by jeweler Johnathon Arndt.

"This ring is a symbol of love from Mike Fisher to Carrie Underwood," the artist said in a release. "Warm Wishes and Congratulations to Carrie and Mike!!!"

Carrie's eye-catching ring is characteristic of Arndt's bold work - the designer's pieces are large and opulent, clearly created to make jaws drop. Celine Dion and Steven Spielberg also are among Arndt's fans.

This isn't the first time Carrie has worn a piece by Arndt - she wore a pair of his drop earrings to this year's Grammys, and a $1.2 million diamond and blue sapphire necklace to the 2009 CNN Heroes Awards. She even helped Arndt unveil a few pieces from his next collection in November!
