When it comes to picking your accessories, green is cool!

Angelina Jolie kickstarted the green trend when she wore a jaw dropping pair of Lorraine Schwartz 115-carat Columbian emerald drop earrings and matching 65-carat ring to the 2009 Oscars.  Jolie nailed the perfect way to wear green accessories: she wore an anything-but-basic black dress punctuated by vibrant, bold accessories that didn’t overpower. 

Since Jolie ruled the red carpet with her stunning style statement, green has grown in popularity and become one of the hottest colors out there.  Kate Hudson and Sienna Miller (in her own Twenty8Twelve design) took the trend one step further, by wearing stunning glittery green dresses!

Green is an accessory color of choice - and bigger seems to be better when it comes to the trendy shade!  Sheryl Crow paired a huge green ring with her understated Bottega Veneta gown at this year’s Grammys, and Hudson rocked an oversized green ring with her emerald mini!

While the green dress-green accessories look worked for Hudson, it’s still best to take a cue from Sheryl Crow or Angelina Jolie - pair green accessories with neutral and black ensembles, so the color really pops and catches everyone’s eye.
