Short dresses ruled the red carpet at the People's Choice Awards on January 6!
Who says you can't wear white after Labor Day? Diane Kruger (above center) looked fabulous in a white mini, which she paired with gladiator sandals and a wristful of bangles.
Taylor Swift (above left) was equally white hot in a snow white Jenny Packham mini dress, which she accessorized with silver platforms, a Neil Lane diamond bracelet and chandelier earrings. Taylor also sported another incredibly hot trend at the Awards show - deep crimson lips.
Another Jenny Packham fan, Kate Walsh, rocked a gold and emerald beaded vintage mini, which she paired with neutral platforms. Smoky eyes and simple gold stud earrings completed the look.
Glee's Lea Michele showed up on the red carpet in a fiery crimson dress - a total departure from her nerdy character on the show. Who knew that she had it in her?
Many fashion critics have picked Carrie Underwood (above right)'s Christian Cota sheath with a black geometric overlay as their favorite look of the night - but I'm a little on the fence about it. I admire that Carrie took a risk with the structured overlay, but I think I'd the cream colored sheath by itself, with a thick black belt, would look better. I'd also be a fan of the overlay if it was cut to fit precisely over the sheath. Carrie's incredible engagement ring makes enough of a statement on its own - no other bold fashion moves required!
